And because it’s a weekend event we’ve extended the age range to include children aged from 0 to 12 years!

Please remember that to travel on any Transperth service, you will need to purchase a ticket or use your SmartRider. Prams and pushchairs cannot be used on escalators and families must use lifts provided at Transperth stations. Please note, trains and buses have priority areas set aside for people in wheelchairs and parents with prams to use.

In this instance, a “family” consists of a maximum of 6 people. The meet and greet will last approximately 5 minutes.
This is just for the Under 5s offering craft, interactive play, play ideas from our Early Transition to Schools team, baby play, a breastfeeding area and much more. Playgroups will also be exhibiting, so be sure to stop by and have a chat to our expert staff or one of the community organisations showcasing their services and activities.

Pick up a an event map; find the listed 5 treasure stops (marked with a treasure chest) and collect a stamp!
Once you’ve collected them all – fill in the requested details, tear it off and drop in a collection box – available at each treasure stop location for the chance to win a 10ft trampoline from Jumpstar Trampolines.
The winner will be contacted after the event and must collect their prize from Jumpstar Trampolines’ Cannington Warehouse.

A range of community services will be at the event, so stop by and say hi to Ngala, the Royal Life Saving Society, the Lotterywest Grants team (who can give you some advice for your playgroups grant applications), the Autism Association WA, Kidsafe, Therapy Focus and many more.
* Pick up a free “lost kid” wristband for your little one from the Playgroup WA tent
* Be vigilant around the water
* St Johns Ambulance will be on site
* Keep an eye on your children at all times (direct parent supervision)
* Report “unusual” behavior of event patrons to Playgroup WA staff (orange or blue T-Shirt)
* Don’t leave valuables in your pram or bag unsupervised
* Bring plenty of water and keep hydrated
* Be SunSMart – Slip-Slop and Slap
* Be careful when crossing roads to access Elizabeth Quay. There will be traffic slow points, but we encourage “holding hands” when crossing roads.
* Don’t leave your children unattended in a vehicle
Elizabeth Quay has a number of food vendors on site.
Additionally, there will be a variety of food trucks onsite across the day. Remember to bring plenty of water and a snack to tide your over!
