Sensory Mud

This sensory mud activity is a messy one but lots of fun! Not only does it feel gooey and slimy but it smells amazing too.

What you need:

• 1-2 cups of flour
• 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
• 1 – 2 cups of water
• A bowl
• A whisk
• Toy animals to cover in mud!

Add in the flour and cocoa powder and give it a mix, slowly start to add in water and whisk until you get your desired consistency and has a mud-like look to it.

Pop some toy farm animals in and let the kids have fun!

Little things…this is a very messy activity so ensure the kids are wearing old clothes or have spare clothes on hand. Make sure there is a plastic sheet or coverings on the floor too (or you could do this outside).

Optional extra…Include a bucket of soapy water so that little ones can wash the animals as an extended messy play experience.
