Colour Matching

Need to go to the hardware store? Next time you do pick up some paint swatch sheets and use them to explore colours and matching.

What you need:

• Paint swatch sheets (two of each type)
• Pegs
• Glue

For this activity you will need two identical paint swatch sheets for each colour you would like to explore. Cut one of the swatch sheets to separate the colours, keeping the other identical paint swatch sheet intact. With some glue attach the cut paint swatches to the top of a peg (so you can still open the peg). Repeat for all colours. Once the glue has dried children can match the pegged colours to their identical colour on the complete colour swatch sheets.
