Pigs in Mud

We think this muddy pig is super cute! It’s also a great activity for young children.

What you need:

• A pre-cut pig (ideally use pink paper or card)
• Brown paint or crayons
• Black paint or crayons

Before you start this activity draw a large pig on a piece of pink paper or cardboard and cut around the shape. You will need one pig per child. Set up a table with tubs of brown and black paint (or crayons if you want to avoid the mess). Talk to the kids before they get started about how pigs love to roll and play in the mud. Then let them go paint crazy and cover their pig with mud (brown paint/crayons). They can also paint eyes and a mouth on their pig using the black paint.
