Christmas decoration

These look great hung up on the Christmas tree or attach them to door handles to make a festive chime every time someone comes over.

What you need:

• String
• Coloured pasta or cut up straws
• A bell

Pre-tie a long piece of string to the top of a bell, the bell acts as a stopper so the kids can thread easily. Set up a table with coloured pasta or cut up straws and show the children how to thread the pieces onto their string.

Extension Idea: For older children encourage them to make a pattern while threading or encourage conversation by asking them what colour they are going to thread next.
