Playgroup WA is happy to announce that with the support of a grant from the WA Government through Lotterywest we can now provide financial support to community playgroups for the next 3 years.
Under the new grant, individual community playgroups will be able to apply for financial support of between $500 – $15,000 directly through Playgroup WA, to fund the purchase of toys, education resources and other equipment.
All playgroups are encouraged to apply and you don’t need to be a Playgroup WA member to be eligible.
What we can support
We can support the purchase of equipment, education resources, portable furniture, toys and associated items. Some ideas include whitegoods, storage, outdoor play equipment. musical instruments and play mats.
Feel free to think of other ideas that you may have, as chances are we might be able to help.
Each application is considered on its own merits and there are a few conditions that you will need to satisfy to progress the application:
- Grants must support not for profit playgroups/organisations and benefit the WA community
- The grant request must be directly related to your playgroup/organisation’s purpose.
- Applications are open to Playgroup WA members and non members. If you’re not a playgroup WA member we will require some additional information around longevity and membership of your playgroup/organisation.
There are some things we wont support including activities and assets that are core venue owner responsibilities.
