Gooseberry Hill playgroup had different sensory stations for their little ones. From collecting spiders from cobwebs; bone treasure hunt in the sandpit and searching for insects in jelly.
Oakwood Playgroup also had a bit of fun with their Halloween stations. These were set up by an external company but could easily be adapted.
What you need:
Naturalise Playgroup did this fun activity with their little ones. Make an example template for the kids to follow or for the younger ones, let them have a go decorating it however they like. Glue or staple the ribbon to display the plates.
What you need:
Let the kids paint their spiders and once the paint is dried, get them to decorate the plates with eyes. Thread through the pipe cleaners to make the legs and you will have some creepy spiders just like Harvest Lakes Playgroup did below.
We love this simple activity that Darlington Family Playgroup did with their little ones!
What you need:
Using the white crayon, draw some spooky pictures onto the white paper. Give the paper to the kids to paint on and reveal the “magic” pictures!
This one is an oldie but a goodie and perfect for all ages to enjoy! Read how to make this one here.
You can’t go wrong with a dress up party! Host a Halloween event or have special themed Halloween session like Early Birds Playgroup did.
