What you need:
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seed
  • 1 cup of water
  • Cornflour
  • Food colouring
  • A small bowl
  • A fork for mixing
How to make the slime:

1. In a small bowl, add in the chia seeds, water and only a couple of drops of food colouring.

2. Whisk until it’s been mixed together. Cover it with plastic wrap and pop into the fridge for 24 hours.

3. Once the mixture has been in the fridge for a day, put it into a bigger bowl and start adding the cornflour to get the desired consistency. A few cups should be fine and the consistency will be slimy but no longer sticking to your hands.

Little things…this is a messy activity so embrace it and watch the kids have lots of sensory fun! This slime doesn’t fall apart and it’s super stretchy. You can watch our Instagram video on how to make it here.
