Everlasting Flower Garden
Get the kids together to make a Mother’s Day garden that will last forever.
What you need:
- Coloured paper or card
- Glue
- Pipe cleaners/pop-sticks/straws
- Empty box
Depending on the children’s age, you or the kids can draw the shapes for the centre of flower and the petals and help cut them out. Once your petals are cut, glue them together onto the stem. We used pipe cleaners for the flower stems, but you can be creative and use whatever you have in the supply cupboard like pop-sticks or straws.
To fill the ‘vase’ (an old tissue box) we used pea gravel but you can use foam or anything else that will help secure the flowers in place.
There you have it! A flower garden that will last all year and bring a splash of colour to your home.
