Paper Plate Alien

Beep, boop, beep, boop! Make your own little green man from a paper plate, pipe cleaners and crepe-paper.

What you need:

• Paper plate
• Green crepe paper
• White card
• Glue or glue sticks
• 2 pipe cleaners
• Hole punch

Before you call the kids over, pre-cut the green crepe paper into small rectangles and put them into a few containers around the table. Next pre-cut white circles to be used as alien eyes.

When the kids are ready help them glue the rectangles onto the paper plate, then stick the white circles on top of the crepe paper and draw eyes on them. Carefully punch two holes on the top of the head and help the kids to tread a pipe cleaner through each hole. Twist the pipe cleaners to make interesting antennae.

If you don’t have green crepe paper you can use different coloured crepe paper and make multi-coloured aliens. You can also add more or less eyes.
