Playdough Aliens
Doing something new at playgroup doesn’t need to be difficult. It’s easy to breathe new life into an old favourite.
What you need:
- Playdough – see recipe here
- Glitter
- Pipe cleaners
- Googly eyes
- Pop-sticks
- Anything else from your craft cupboard
What we love about playdough craft is that it’s so versatile, you can change it by adding glitter or providing different tools for the kids to play with.
To make these aliens set the kids up on a table with playdough and craft items. Help them make a ball or rough shape out of the dough and start adding craft bits until the alien comes to life.
Don’t have any craft items? Not to worry! Go on a scavenger hunt around the garden and collect sticks, leaves and stones to use as alien appendages.
