Paper Plate Frog
This frog is easy to make and allows for lots of creative play.
What you need:
- A paper plate (green plates work best)
- Some coloured card
- Felt tip pens
To make your frog start by folding the plate in half (if you are using a green plate make sure you fold it so the green is on the outside). Cut two circles for eyes, but be sure to leave a little tab so they can be secured to the top of the plate. To make the tongue cut out a thin strip of card and fold it back and forth until you make a zig-zag. Secure the tongue inside the plate with a bit of tape. Your frog is ready to play! Kids can use the frog as a puppet, make him talk or even have him catch some flies for dinner!
