In this challenging time, we have some exciting news. We have launched a new Facebook group called Playgroup at Home WA.
This group is for WA families with children aged 0-5 years and in it we will share many different activities and ideas to keep you inspired, entertained and connected while at home. We encourage you all to join us and share, interact, and have fun.
This week, the Prime Minister announced additional prohibited activities, which indicate that all playgroups need to cease immediately at this time.
Our new Playgroup at Home group is the perfect alternative to connect and interact in a virtual community gathering. While we can’t meet in person, we can still meet online as it is now more important than ever to stay connected.
During this time of staying physically distanced, we hope you continue to be socially connected with your playgroup families. As promised, we will continue to do what we can to support you and your children and to assist you to support each other. Some initial ideas about staying connected with others during this time are included in this article.
These types of connections will help us get through this time. We are still here, working from home, and look forward to staying in touch.
